End of Support for Microsoft Office 2016 and 2019 – Action Required
Microsoft will officially end support for Office 2016 and Office 2019 on October 14, 2025.

We already provide the installation packages for Microsoft Office LTSC 2024 and ask all responsible personnel to upgrade to this version.
Although Office LTSC 2021 is also available, its support will end on October 13, 2026, leaving only a short period of support remaining. Therefore, we strongly recommend using Office LTSC 2024.

In addition to Office 2016/2019, support for Visio 2016/2019, Project 2016/2019, and Visual Studio 2015 will also end. If you are currently using any of these products, please take appropriate action — such as upgrading or discontinuing use — to ensure continued security and compliance.

Microsoft will officially end support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025.

At our university, the use of unsupported operating systems is strictly prohibited.
All users are required to take prompt action to upgrade their OS or discontinue use of affected systems.

Support reception ends one hour before closing time, and on-site assistance is not provided.

Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024 offering service for university-owned PC has started.
Office LTSC Standard for Mac 2024 offering service for university-owned PC has started.
Office Professional Plus 2019 offering service for university-owned PC has ended.
Office Professional Plus 2019 will reach its end of support on 2025/10/14. We recommend migrating to Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024.

The MS365 account (xxxx@o365.tokyotech.jp) for the Tokyo Tech tenant will be discontinued on Thursday, March 27, 2025. We have already started providing MS365 services under the Science Tokyo tenant, so please migrate to the MS365 services under the Science Tokyo tenant by the above service end date. (How To Migrate)
Please note that Microsoft Office LTSC installed via TTInstaller will continue to be available beyond the fiscal year 2025.
