Example of Symantec Endpoint Protection Uninstallation Procedure

The user is responsible for any change made to the computer by the uninstallation process.

 

1       Open Control Panel.

 Open Control Panel in Windows

2       Click [Programs].

 

3       Click [Programs and Features].

 

4       Click [Symantec Endpoint Protection].


 

 

5       Click [Uninstall].[1]

 

6       If you receive the message:  Are you sure you want to uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection?, click [Yes].

 

7       If you receive the message:  User Account Control, click [Yes].

 

8       If you receive the message:  You must restart your system for the configuration changes made to Symantec Endpoint Protection to take effect. Click Yes to restart now or No if you plan to restart later., click [Yes].
